I do all the time, I can not stand having cutted hair on my back of my neck and along my back lol.Do you wash your hair after coming from the barber's shop?
The place I go will wash it after they cut my hair. (Sport Clips or Two Hotties)Do you wash your hair after coming from the barber's shop?
Before you get a haircut, have the collar tightened a little more. Or if your wearing a collared shirt, tuck the collar inside the shirt.
After your haircut, they should brush hair off you with a sanitary hand towel and blow-dry your hair with cool air from a blow-dryer. If your stylist does not ask them to. If that doesn't help, use some talc/baby powder and dust it on your skin, it will relieve the itchiness.
When you get home, use a boar bristle type brush and brush your hair, scalp to ends, this will loosen any hairs from your scalp. Then take a shower. Put shampoo in your hair and then wash it off. Run your hands through your hair and then wash off your hands in the stream of water. If you can, rub a cloth through it. Be sure to get inside your ears too!
Dust yourself lightly with talc/baby powder again.
Put on a clean shirt. If you don't, there still may be hairs in the other one. Pants and underwear usually doesn't matter. (Make sure you wash the clothes from the hair cut before you try wearing them again)
Repeat the process in the shower for how ever many days necessary if you continue to be itchy.
[edit] TipsAll the hairs will eventually go away.
Your pillow may have some short, cut hairs in it too.
Wash all clothes worn for the haircut.
Be nice to your stylist- manners are important.
And please DO NOT forget to tip your stylist after.
I don't, but my brother does. In the car home he's normally scratching the back of his neck and his back because of the little hairs lol!
I don't know how I came to believe this: As a child I thought that some of the small cut hairs would take root again and I would never go bald. So I didn't wash my hair right away. Well I'm not bald ';yet';
