What do i say to the barber if I want a 2 on the top but make it fade down to a 0?

Also if i wanted the hair on my back of my head like near the neck area really short like a fade. I don't want to say something stupid to embarrass myself.What do i say to the barber if I want a 2 on the top but make it fade down to a 0?

well as some of us know a 2 is a quarter of a inch,,,i would ask for a 2 on top and a low skin fade,,,BUT%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;if you want hair on the back of your head you would NOT ask for a 0,,,as a 0 is SKIN,,,,you could go down to a half guard which is between a 0 and a 1....i always laught when guys ask for skin and block the neck,,,,,theres nothing to block,,,so be sure what you really want before you ask,
You pretty much nailed it. Be aware, though, that every barber I've been to seems to have different equipment and different techniques. I've gotten long 1 1/2 and short 1 1/2 cuts before.
My son always tells them '; an inch crew on top and clean up the back'; .I think you will find 2 inches a bit to long it will lay down and not stand up.
