Does it only depend on if it's disinfected or not before it comes to you?How high is the risk of infection when getting shaved with a razor at a barber shop?
The risk is fairly low, if you're going to a reputable barber shop. The most common disinfectant is quaternary ammonium solution which all razors, combs, and other instruments, that come in contact with the customers, are placed in after being washed. If the straight razor is kept honed, there should be no irritation to the skin, and thus no opportunity for any bacteria to come in contact with it.How high is the risk of infection when getting shaved with a razor at a barber shop?
zero, unless it has fresh blood on it and you get cut and some of that bood gets in your system. but the only thing you can get is AIDS, and only if it hasn't been washed and the blood is still wet.
just be careful always ,use a rubbing alcohol after shaving trimmimg or after a haircut, always
