What is it like to be a barber? Specifics, the day to day of the shop, funny things that happen. Any barbers?

I'm interested in anything anyone who's been a barber can give me. Like what's it like disposing of all that hair? What's the weirdest request you've gotten? Any shady dealings going down at the shop? If someone out there is willing to share their experience of being a barber I would most appreciate anything you respond with or resource you can point me to. there isnt much to disposing hair,,just throw it in the garabge. The strangest request I get are from guys not thinking it through,,like bald on the sides,leave the side burns.....High and tight w/4 inches on top, and requstes to cut mles or warts off,,YUCK...I never have done anything SHADY in a barber shop,,its a place of business...I did have a guy call and ask how much i charged for topless haircuts,,,,really pissed me off,,but after I thought about it, i should have had him come in,,then have my husband come out topless and cut his hair...barbering is good,except for the down times,,,when its slow,,then it sucks,,becasue you get paid by the haircut,nit by the hour....
