He left mostly because of Caughlin. Now look where the Giants are. Guess he isn't so bad after all. Tiki Should of sucked it up. What are your opinions? And what do you think the Giants record would have been with him?What is running through Tiki Barber's head now?
I think that there are a lot of contributing factors to their success starting with how well they played against NE, and the fact that Eli is more comfortable away from the Meadowlands. I think that the Shockey thing is not getting enough national press. Their is harmony in that locker room, and Eli doesn't have to worry about throwing him the ball, and having his 2 drops, at least, per game. Also, any time Shockey though he was open, he would freak out if he didn't get the ball. Then, there are his constant nagging injuries. Now with Boss, you may have less talent, but he is there every week doing his job with his mouth shut. It has also forced Eli to have to spread the ball more to Toomer and Smith.
Tiki Barber can have fun watching Eli lead his team to the superbowl. Dude thinks very highly of himself considering that he was a fumbling machine until 2003.What is running through Tiki Barber's head now?

I own a barber shop, other then keeping my barbers busy, what can I do to motivate them and keep them happy?

try to organize after work events, everybody get together on friday split some beers and have sort of a meeting where everybody can express their thoughts, or take them to the strip club pay their way and whatever happens inside they tip or pay forI own a barber shop, other then keeping my barbers busy, what can I do to motivate them and keep them happy?
Be generous with profit-sharing and organise a famly day where all staffs and family members get to interact and know each other better.
Have an insentive for them. If they have ';repeating costumers'; then that means you get more revenue, therefore you should increase of ';give a percentage'; of those cuts.
This way you know that the customers are happy and your people are doing a better job, and not just giving them an insentive.
Why not close the shop early one day and invite them beers and pizza? But I stick to my first story, in the long run this will bring you stable revenue and will make your barber shop grow
Really, people don't need a lot. I bet if you just made a point of telling them often, but not too often, that they did a great job today, or you're glad they're here, you'd find it goes a LONG way in boosting morale. Buying lunch or bringing in breakfast sandwiches or doughnuts occasionally is nice too!

-Sponsor community cookouts during the summer using your barbershop name.
-Also sponsor trips using your barbershop name. The employees shouldn't be required to go, but I'm sure they'll oblige.

ive owned my own business for year first rule of thumb NEVER mix business with friends, so what ever you do , dont go out after work for beers and such, what i did and let my employees, listen to thier chocie of music, give bonuses for a certian goal, tho not money!! stuff like new equipment or early days off, employees really like that

How is Marion Barber III going to do this season as a fantasy player?
I am a Cowboys fan and I personally think he's a good player. However, even though he breaks more runs, and catches the ball better than Jones they still give Jones a lot of carries. So he won't put up giant numbers since he doesn't get the workload. Last year I had him in fantasy and he scored a lot of TD's. New coach might use him less on the goal line (or more) and less as a first and second down back (or more). Well trimmed, not to short, not to mature. Tell her/him you want it to be a bit messy but still classy, no hair coming down on your face. Kind of a simple haircut with longer on the top of your head than and shorter on the sides. I don't know really how else you could explain it. It's a very simple, classic haircut. ok here is an honest answer ... you probably cant open your own shop quite yet simply because in most states in order to have a barber shop you need to be licensed by the state and the minimum age is 18. also, i believe most states require you to take training classes through an approved school before becoming licensed.
on the other hand, you should stay focused on your goals and keep planning until you are 18. also, think about other things you can do in the meantime.
final note, if you (or your parents) have the cash for you to open the shop you may want to consider finding a business partner who is licensed (or old enough) to get licensed and do the work.

I'm afraid the only way to become a good, fully capable barber is through college %26amp; years of experience. I trained for 2yrs in college to become a hairstylist/barber %26amp; even then I wasn't qualified. After college you are whats known as a junior stylist/apprentice/trainee. After 2 more yrs you qualify as a level 1 senior stylist/barber. It takes 2yrs again to become a fully qualified stylist/barber. You can become a barber without all this training but that doesn't necessarily make you a good 1. Natural flair/talent %26amp; years of experience are what make good barbers. Unfortunately its not as simple as people think. You could on the other hand ask for a Sat job or something like that in a barber shop. You would mainly be sweeping up hair %26amp; things like that but if you want to get into the business you have to start at the very bottom.What do you recommend for becoming a good barber?

How can I estimate the number of barber shops in a given city?

To save time you could take the average number of barber shops in the three closest towns to you and multiply the ratio to the size of the city in question. There will not be a huge amount of difference in the ratio. If they say otherwise get them to prove it. Throw it back in their lap. It's an estimate remember not an exact figure.
Or get on companies house or buy a mintel report

When cleaning, the surface metal of the coin is often stripped. Anything used to scrub the coin will leave scratches (even 100% pure silk will leave hairline scratches). Most cleaning products will have some type of reaction with the coin's metal and the surface metal can also be removed in this manner.
Your best bet is to leave the coins alone. Cleaning the coin will leave traces - which can be found by the knowledgeable collector - who in turn will not buy the cleaned coin. Also if you ever wanted to send your coin into a grading company, they can recognize signs of cleaning and will send your coin back in a ';cleaned'; slab (also called a ';body bag'; in the coin world) - which is usually a greatly decreased value.
If you absolutely must must must clean your coins do not use the method described above as it will react with the metal in your coin. Use 100% acetone (do not use fingernail polish remover!). It must be 100% pure because other additives will react with the coin metal. Place your coin(s) in the solution for several minutes (do not leave in for long periods of time). Rinse your coin(s) in distilled water. Next remove your coins and either pat dry with a soft cloth or allow the coin to air dry (air drying is better as you don't risk scratching the coin with the cloth). NEVER scrub your coins!
I would still advise you to leave your coins as they are. They may not be bright and shiny but that is what most collectors prefer.

If the coin has a full liberty, all the letters clear the value goes up from $7-$17 The D %26amp; S mint marked coins are worth more with the S (San Francisco mint) being the most valuable.

after the year 2010 about 1000 dollars because... at that time they are going to start making all stores collect anything that islower then 1967 (the year of the penny boom) so wait a while and it will pay off.

Do haircut places like Great Clips give shape-ups or is it just black barber shops?

I went to beauty school and to tell you the truth I do not know what to do with black peoples hair! I would go to a african american barber. I think it has alot to do with where you learn to cut hair like if i went to a school in a more afluent neighborhood maybe id know more because wed focus more on that type of hair. But i went to a school in a very white dominated area and had all white teachers and mostly white students.

I want to be a cosmetologist and a barber and i would like to take both courses at once. Are there any schools that offer both courses, or could i do both at once??Would it be possible to go to both barber and cosmetology school at once?
Every state is different but I don't know of any that offer the courses in combination. If you can only get one, get the cosmetology license because they can do more than a barber and many men go to beauty salons these days for haircuts and some get color or hi-lites. Also, cosmetologist typically charge more for their services than barbers.Would it be possible to go to both barber and cosmetology school at once?
Why would you want to do that? The only difference between a Barber and a Cosmetologist is the license, and Cos. can't use a blade on the face. They both learn the same things, and are able to do the same things. You won't be able to do both at once, since it is seperate licenses, and both take time to complete and is a all day thing.
I wouldn't recommend both at once; I think it'd be too much for you to do. In TX, you can complete a cosmetology program in about a year, attending class about 40 hrs per week. That's 8 hrs a day. Marion Barber and Michael Turner for Petersen?
I have Micheal Turner, Marion Barber, Larry Johnson, and MJD as running backs, but I want to shake up my team because of poor matchups in weeks 14-16 for Barber and Turner.
Petersen on the other hand has great matchups.

With Peterson, you know youre getting a great RB, but all the defenses are already keying on him, and Atlanta and NY Giants have no pushover defenses to run against!
Therefore, I say KEEP who you have. IF youre set on a trade however, see if you can rid yourself of MJD and Barber...keeping Turner for yourself. His matchups are much better and have more opportunity for success.
