Generally, what is needed to open a barber shop?

I have a basic idea, but just wanted to get some extra input to see if maybe I'm overlooking some less obvious things.Generally, what is needed to open a barber shop?
You must first have a Barber or cosmetologist license which takes about a year depending on which License and what State. Then you have to get a shop license, in the 2 states I have had shops you have to send in a diagrams of square footage and where sinks and restrooms are located. Then you have to apply for a business license. The rest is easy,,,chairs, capes ect. Good LuckGenerally, what is needed to open a barber shop?
its simple.a couple of permits.a couple chairs...

most of all, good barbers.

i had a salon for 12 years, it was fun, but you pay a ton of taxes........
