How would i be able to cut hair at a barber shop w/out a license?

I heard i can work as an apprentice under someone else's license at the same shop....is this true?How would i be able to cut hair at a barber shop w/out a license?
It has to be under a barber who has an INSTRUCTORS license,,,in the state I am in you have to have 2 licensed insrtuctors on duty to work with the apprentice,,,,the goal of the apprentice is to get a license, and doing it this way takes about twice as many hours. Then you still have to take the barbers state and law test along with the practical exam.How would i be able to cut hair at a barber shop w/out a license?
Yes, but that person would have to be willing to take the blame if something happened while you were cutting hair. If you are working on getting your license, this is a good way to get some experience and get in the field. It won't last forever though, you're going to have to get out and get your own eventually.
