Im 20 years old and want to be a Barber, but i hear it's usefull to go and get the Cosmetology license. The thing is Cosmetology deals alot with (Nails, Hair Dressing, ect.) Can anyone from experience tell me what is the better choice. Im in no way a Feminine type guy and i just want to be a barber to make good money. All answers appreciated Thanks.Advice: Should i go for a Barber license or Cosmetology license?
If you just want to be a Barber, Then go for the Barber License. If you don't have the passion for Nails or skin, or even some of the things that Cosmetologists do(Although,For School Cosmetology and Barbers learn the same thing, Minus the Nails and Skin.), Then it won't work for you. It's ether a love it or hate it job.Advice: Should i go for a Barber license or Cosmetology license?
i would go get that cosmetology license. you might as well just go all out right? plus with cosmetology you will have more opportunities and make more money because you can provide different services.
my brother is about your age and he went into barber college he says its great and he's learning a lot and barbers make more money because if the economy crashes who's gonna care about looking good? there gonna want hair cuts and food...and water lol
