A barber shop handles men's haircuts and a salon has more options for men and women, some have manicurist, massages, and have a more pampered environment. A barber shop on the other hand just has chairs and men in their cutting other men's hair and that's it.What is the difference between a barber shop and a salon?
Barber Shops are usually for men, Run by a barber who specializes in Men's cut. Barber shops usually don't do Chemicals(Like Color, or Hair straightening.).
Salons are where hairstylists work, They do everything, Style, Cut, Chemicals, Heat, Etc.What is the difference between a barber shop and a salon?
A barber shop they just cut hair and usually for the guys.
A salon does pedicures, manicures, perms, dying and things like that.
Ha LOL :) a salon is for females and a barber shop is for males.
A barber shop you get you hair cut and styled and dyed
in a salon you have other things like tanning manicures pedicures massages...all that good stuff along with the barber part
Another really important point - barber shops do shaves with a razor, salons almost always don't.
i think a barber shop is for guys and a salon is either guys or girls and more stuff as well, like mani/pedis, and waxing
barber- men
salon- women
