What's the difference between a hairdresser and a barber?

'Cos BOTH work with girls' AND blokes' hair. However, there MUST be a difference in the job these two professionals perform, but that said, what the bloody hell are these differences?! Any idea, guys? Much obliged in advance! Peace and love! Be lucky! :)What's the difference between a hairdresser and a barber?
a hairdresser does both but a barber usually only does mens hairWhat's the difference between a hairdresser and a barber?
There really isn't much of a difference, except Barbers are allowed to use a straight blade razor on the face, and they specialize in men's cuts. A hairstylist is usually a Cosmetologist, So they do Skin(Facials, make up, waxing, etc.), and Nails. But both barbers and hairstylists, nowadays can use Chemicals, and cut/style hair.
A hairdresser does both however a barber mainly does mens hair.
About 拢20.
