Not sure what to tell my barber to do with my bangs?

Last time I got my haircut my barber cut my hair like a bowl cut. It was awful! Anyway, I'm sure what to tell him to do with my bangs. Any advice would be very helpful.Not sure what to tell my barber to do with my bangs?
There are only a few basic short bangs cuts. With a Crew Cut or Flat Top Crew Cut, the bangs are brushed back off the forehead.

An Ivy League(Long Crew Cut) can either have the bangs brushed back off the forehead or it can be parted and the hair brushed back and to the side, to the side, to the side and forward or the top hair combed forward and the hair at the front brushed back off the forehead.

A Forward Brush is cut to have the bangs brushed down on to the forehead.


Forward Brush Cuts tend to suit wavy hair.
