In the UK , I don't think so. But they run courses !
NVQ's etc .
Where did your friends learn ?
Can they be trusted ?
How many different styles can they do ?
Would you let them cut yours ?
Can they use cut throats ?
Do they know about the anatomy of the head ?
Do they know about medical conditions , that can be dangerous to the clients well being ?
Do they know about Hair dyes , bleaches , styling ?
Do they know about hygiene , aids , hepatitis , contagious diseases , haemophiliacs ?
Will you be prepared to pay big compensation , for what may be big claims ?
Are you prepared to go to prison , for their mistakes ?
