How do you ask for a taper fade at the barber?

I asked for a taper fade and the barber asked me how I wanted it and I had no idea what to say. When he gave it to me it looked just like an ordinary fade. How do u ask for it so that it really stands out and is a noticeable taper?How do you ask for a taper fade at the barber?

You right ask them for a taper fade if when they show you what they've done it isn't right get them to correct it and cut it how you want it. Alternatively take a picture of the end result you want and show them iin advance what you want it to look like after the cut. Good luck.
