How good does the Giants success look on Tikki Barber?

I love the fact that they have made it all the way without him. There are far too many athletes who love to ';pop'; off about their old teams when they retire. How about showing some respect to the organization who gave you an opportunity. How good does the Giants success look on Tikki Barber?
It doesnt take away from anything Tiki did when he was with the G-Men at all. If your truly a Giants fan thank him for mouthing off it galvanized the team behind Eli. Making him a leader in their eyes I think it has helped the Giants achieve what they have done so far.How good does the Giants success look on Tikki Barber?
Mouthing off on your old team is wrong. Keep that stuff to yourself and not the media, it only makes you look like a jerk.

That being said, Tiki Barber must have is face in his hands and going, ';was it me?';
The backup RB, Bradshaw, is doing a heck of a good job! The G-Men definately do not miss Tikki!
I'm with you all the way. Eli is making Tiki eat his words now.

Critcism is one thing, but Tiki went out of his way to ridicule Eli, when he said Eli sounded ';almost comical'; when he spoke during team meetings. That was totally uncalled for. I think that Eli is just a shy guy, and with an ego-maniac like Tiki around, Eli was afraid to speak up and be a leader. Now that Barber is gone, and Shockey is hurt, Eli can be himself, and run the offense.

Tiki looked like a very small man when he popped off. He was playing for the Giant just last year, he could have said those things to Eli's face, but no, he had to wait until he retired.

I hope he enjoys watching the Giants in the Super Bowl, knowing they are a better team without him.
kinda show you how importing a leader in the locker room can make . he was turning players against the coach and the q.b. and now without him they play as a team.
There's a taboo in almost all sports, especially team sports.

Thou show not blame your team or players on your team for your teams failures. It is a team sport.
HE WAS PLAYING FOR THEM THEN,, AND SAID ELI WOULD NEVER BE A PRO NFL QUARTERBACK... HES A PIECE... QUOTE SPORTSCENTER
I think it is OK. I think that Coughlin changed his attitude toward the players and started respecting them more after he basically sucked the life out of the game for them. He pretty much forced out one of the best guys in the game due to his attitude and having no respect for the players he was supposed to be coaching. I think the change did Coughlin and the team a whole lot of good. Unfortunately it took Tiki leaving football for it to happen. You shouldn't need that big of a wakeup call. All of the players, Strahan being the most vocal, speak of Coughlin's change of heart this year and how it has bolstered the team.
he is an a$$hole and said that eli didn't have the leadership skills to bring the team anywhere... and now they made it to the superbowl without his negativity dragging the team down.

he's a little b*tch and wants to seem all cool, like the team was going to fall apart without him... so much for that theory lol

goooooo giants!
ya...barber was overrated
I wholeheartedly agree. I'm a diehard Giants fan and Tiki was one of my favorite players but there's a reason he gets booed at the Swamp now. Let's go GMEN!!!!!!
