What should i tell my barber if i wanna get a faux hawk?

I currently spike my hair. Usually everytime i get a haircut, i tell my barber to do # 6 or 8 on the top, and a 2 on the side. Im really getting tired of my spiky hair style. Should i get a faux hawk (like Beckham's) or somethin else?What should i tell my barber if i wanna get a faux hawk?
